Ride the North (RtN) is a two day challenge cycling event taking place in Aberdeenshire and Moray on 29th and 30th August 2020 (* provisional date), we are an affiliated charity and have places for cyclists on the KWS team.
RtN features the beautiful backroads of North East Scotland and the natural environment of a region which is home to Scotland’s Castle Country, the Malt Whisky Trail and the Cairngorms National Park. RtN is a non-competitive event which invites entries from individuals, groups and corporate teams to enjoy all that is wonderful about riding a bike through the Grampian Highlands.
2019 will be the 9th RtN event - it is not a race nor a sportive, it a challenge ride which celebrates the love of cycling and the scenery in this part of Scotland. There will be refreshment stations every 20-25 miles and the organisers work in partnership with the local communities to ensure all cyclists are well looked after along the way. The route is always on the back-roads of North East Scotland, in the foothills of the Grampian Highlands (in Aberdeenshire and Moray). The route changes a little each year, with the exact 2019 route to be posted about 2-3 weeks from the event, but it will be in the region of 175 miles with a mix of hills and some easier sections.
If you are interested in taking part in this event as part of the KWS team, please contact email@example.com for more information.
